From October to December 2025, teaching materials developed under the CADEO Project were officially integrated into the Sustainable Land Management (SULAMA) MSc program, jointly delivered by Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium. More than 40 graduate students participated in this year’s course, gaining hands-on exposure to remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and climate-resilient land management practices.
As part of this cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dinh from Phenikaa University was invited to serve as a Visiting Professor in the Remote Sensing course for the period 2025–2028. His contribution strengthens the academic link between Vietnamese and European partners in advanced Earth observation education.
The SULAMA MSc program will continue to be implemented for the next 10 years, supported by long-term funding from VLIR-UOS, ensuring sustained capacity building in land and water management, geospatial applications, and climate adaptation. This collaboration highlights the growing impact of the CADEO project in shaping high-quality, practice-oriented geospatial education across Europe and Asia.
