Geospatial Intelligence is a course to offer the students with knowledge on the state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms such as neural networks, SVM, random forest and more sophisticated deep learning models such as convolution neural network (CNN), recurrent neural net (RNN), long-short time memory. The application of these algorithms and models for geospatial tasks such as land cover classification, regression modelling, hazards prediction using machine learning. The course trains the learners in open science and towards integrated solutions of data science and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) such as using the QGIS with Python programming for three examples of land cover classification by machine learning, landslides susceptibility mapping and object detection using deep learning models.
