Nguyen Quoc Dinh was born in Nam Ha, Vietnam, in 1970. He received the B.E. degree as exploration geologist from the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, Vietnam, in 1992, and the M.Sc. degree in Physical Land Resources from the Ghent University and Free University of Brussels, Belgium, in 2001; and the Ph.D. degree in geo-ecology from University of Bayreuth, Germany, in 2009. Since Januaty 2023, he has been Head of External Engagement Office, and member of Faculty of Informatics, Phenikaa University, Vietnam. He has experiences in Disaster Risk Reduction, Water and Environment Management, Waste Management, Circular Economy, Plastic waste, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Climate Smart Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Mineral Resources, Green Mining, Sustainable Development Goals. He is guest lecture at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and other university in Vietnam. He is PI, co-PI of several international project funded by VLIR-UOS (Belgium) and UKRI (UK) and PM of USAID project, experienced in coordinating multi-national project.
