She is Director of the Research Centre of Climate change at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry and has a background in land management, remote sensing and GIS. She also has a PhD degree from Hue University in Land Management. Her main research are application of GIS and remote sensing in natural resource management to assess the effects of climate change, application of GIS to build various types of databases.
Author or co-author of more than 80 national and international scientific research publications, participating and leading of 16 both national and international research projects, 4 Vietnamese academic books.
