On 9 October afternoon, the Italian Embassy in Hanoi hosted an engaging workshop at Casa Italia to spotlight the Erasmus+ initiative, “Climate change Adaptation using Digital Geospatial Twins and Earth Observation” (CADEO).
Representatives of the Sweden Embassy, Department of National Remote sensing (MONRE), universities, and companies in Hanoi also attended the meeting.
Led by the Politecnico di Milano and Lunds Universiteit, CADEO project is designed to inspire and empower Vietnamese students by offering university programs that leverage the latest in technological and digital advancements. These innovations are crucial in tackling the pressing challenges of climate change, providing students with the tools and knowledge needed to monitor and mitigate environmental risks.
During the workshop, the coordinating universities outlined the dynamic structure of the Cadeo university courses and the strong collaboration with four Vietnamese institutions: Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, Hue University, Vietnamese-German University, and Phenikaa University. This partnership fosters an exchange of expertise and opens doors to global opportunities for Vietnamese students.
